How do you get the fan off the water pump?

i did it with a big pry bar on the inside of the water pump pulley and a big cresent wrench

What did you pry agianst

I just tapped the wrench with a hammer, and it broke it loose. The sudden jolt seems to work well.

I ended up making a tool to hold the pully in place while i pulled on the cresant
