I might be completely talking out of my a$$ here cause I'm new to this but someone tell me if this would work or if it's a bad idea. Could I set my stoich afr to say 15.4:1 to get better gas mileage but in the PE EQ ratio vs RPM set the ratio to 1.18 to bring the afr down to 13.0:1 for max power when i floor it? Or would it be bad on the motor to be changing the AFR so much so quickly? I know, newb question.

It should be fine I believe that is the value lean cruise is set at on non american car.
You should see the AFR gauge when you push the go-fast button. It changes QUICKKKKK.Quote:

lean on a cruise with minimal load, is completely different then racing with tons of load.
That might be bit of an extreme, but I believe that is something similar to what Quik had on his tune.

I had my avalanche running at 16:1 for a long time, about 30Kmiles, due to me not tuning it, hahaha, you know how it goes...
I know you didn't say so, but definitely don't try it during boosted driving.
Maybe keep an eye on egt's too, see how those change from one a/f to another.
