Truck has been throwing the random missfire code here lately. I've done had problems and put on new plug wires off an NNBS. Solved the prob. What all else could this be? And it has also been going dead on me here lately when i come to a stop.... :(

i'd sell it
Did you change the plugs?
It's got E3's. :( Not impressed. Done replaced plug wires... could it be an O2 sensor?
could be injectors (tho unlikely) fuel filter, pump going bad (check pressure) intake gasket leak, or some sensor.
Hmmm.. yea i guess any of those things could cause a little disturbance.
Them plugs burn up fast tho. And some people say if you hit the rev limiter it'll foul the plugs.
Did you crack the porcelain on a plug?
1 plug SHOULD give a misfire on 1 cylinder....random cylinder USUALLY means more then 2. I'd say could even be a 02, but then you should have a bank 1 or 2 rich/lean issue.
Throw a set of cheap plugs in it and see if it goes away... i haven't met anyone actually running e3's yet. i'm a ac-delco platinum/iridium guy myself. 100k miles no problems.
Yea me too. just had a sale on them so i thought i'd give them a try.
Another thing is the truck will randomly die on me when i come to a stop. :(
Could be an 02 issue. Have the CEL scanned and see which Bank is having the issues...
