So i have a 1995 K1500 with the 5.7 tbi, and have decided to look into swapping in a 5.3. What is all needed for the swap, can I keep my tranny, or do i need one from a 5.3, they are both 4l60e i beleive. Also, what is the going rate of a good 5.3?
