I heard they were part of the sending unit in the tank! :eek:
They'll do anything to get service dept hours.
i've used about 1800 galons of fuel so i was gonna change the filter if i could find it..
it should be a Fram pn: 8219 with a clip fitting on one side and a bolt together fitting on the other side. somewhere about 18-24" away from the fuel pump outlet.
it's not under the truck anywhere that i can see...gave dealer my vin and they said that it is in the tank and to not worry bout changin it :nono:

my mom, uncle and girlfriend all have 04 trucks and all three of them are as i described above. either you have a "freak" or you are missing some parts.
