Many moons ago I posted that my 03 1500HD's stock torque converter flashed stalled and brake stalled @ 2500rpms.
Just reporting back in that my 05 2500HD's stock torque converter does the same. Might be a less expensive alternative for some;)

Pretty nice... get the ol' Radix on there and it should flash a tad higher due to the increase in input torque.

Well flash higher provided those donut-looking 245/75R16s can hookup on the street from a launch.
What did you decide upon the TransGo setup? SK, vac mod, sep plate, and B&M cooler?

haven't decided yet, check this thread out and let me know what you think.

The Lightning ones (E4OD/4R100) is just a front accumulator body by the stator pump, I built one in about 30 min. lol It's NOTHING at all like the 80E {:-(
Their VB's three parts stacked together, theres a big lower part and two smaller ones on top. Very simple, and very effective. There is no complexity to that unit.
Here's the sep plate - http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/4L80E_...0-004681301.htm
Should be the same for the new ones too.
