She is defiantly a hero, and thank fully she's still alive to tell her story.
Why does it have to be about one person. It was a team effort by the police. Thats why they are there and they do what they do. Even if she was the one to do it, she doesnt deserve a statue nor does the other guy who shot the bad dude. Just appreciate the work all law enforcement officers do.
Why didn't they just plant one between his eyes? I realise in that sort of a situation it'd be a "point in the general direction" shot but come on.
the media is just a bunch of dirt digging jerks. they are the one singling this woman out as a hero, then they turn on her and try to make her look like a piece of crap. They have no moral restraints anymore, they will do anything to create a story.
