Some have done it but why not just do the complete ls swap. Many have done it. Theres is a ton of information on it here
this was kinda what me and my brother had in mind

I think it would be cool, but I like carbs.
you need a standalone ignition system like the MSD. its not cheap but it works.
i'd say that it will run better and cost less to go with the stock efi setup.
well I have looked for the intake on ebay and there are kinda cheap and we already have the Holley 750 crab so we might have it running by December you know working on it slowly
carb direction costs more money then it does using the EFI route.
there isnt one advantage for going carb with what youre wanting to do. Youll probably lose power to be honest
MSD kit with intake= $750
I want to do this myself. Keep it old school with new technology.
Power should stay the same, maybe more. That carb is gonna flow more CFM.
Go for it. Unless I beat you to it!
yeah we are just waiting to get our 5.3 and then we can start to work on it and order the intake kit from ebay I will keep you guys posted once we start on it
The carb will flow more CFM and make SLIGHTLY more power.
