There isn't much you can do to defend from a thief with a tow truck at his disposal. Turning the steering wheel fully to the right makes it difficult to tow backwards. A hidden fuel cutoff switch is good. A good alarm system with a paging system is nice to have. Some type of vehicle tracking device is suggested for recovery. Mount it somewhere they won't think to look. Simply breaking the OnStar antenna off or pulling its fuse/power supply disables it and then its worthless. I use this to protect mine... like said, the kill switch. i did one on mine. If you pull the whole fuse cover off from under the hood, there will be a grey wire going into terminal C3F1?? GasGuzzler can help you with all that, he helped me with mine. but its just a switch wired up to the fuel pump power wire.
i think ill install fuel cut off switch, i wont need it when im at home but i just like to keep my stuff safe if i ever go places.Quote:

The accutracking is great for finding out where your vehicle is if you loan it to friends, too. You can pitch it into someone's car to trace where they've been. Sneaky sneaky. :laugh:
Take any of the ignition wires that go to the pcm, and splice in a toggle switch.
The pcm needs those couple of ignitions to power up, so that's all you need.
Also, check out one of those remote control relays in place of a toggle switch. it's basically a wireless controlled relay, replace your ignition relay with one of these, just thought I'd mention this cause it's easy and saw it a while back.
One last thing, crank the boost up to 20psi, so when they try to take off they'll wreck it, haha jk.

Top secret switch on the fuel pump, or the ignition into the PCM is probably the simplest. I've never put much thought into it, my truck doesn't really go anywhere where those shenanigans is a real threat, besides to a thief it's not too desireable anyway.
