A bug sponge and heavy duty glass cleaner works decent

If you have some that still wont come off use a clay bar.

Cleaner 409 works like a charm, we use it on all of are company pickups.

Couldn't have said it better my self.

The safe way to do it: HOT water and car wash soap soaked towels draped over the effected areas while you do the interior or clean the rims and tyres.
This takes some time because the dried bug guts are being hydrated so they can be removed a little easier.
If you already did the interior and/wheels, then you're outta luck, pal.

Bug/tar remover sprays do strip wax and wax makes dried bug guts easier to remove in the first place.
I see those products as something like Dawn. Don't use it unless you know there's a lot of work to be done to the exterior.
