mostly used on diesels but will work to tell the exhaust temp on any type of fuel.

You can use on a gasser too, not really necessary maybe add a little precision for real fine tuning I'm not sure

coming from the sport compact world....we use them for tuning on our turbo charged cars...very helpful on determining rich/lean conditions..
