I just sold my truck... so i am considering buying a 07 or 08 crew cab 4x4 vortec max.. i drove one the other day but it sure felt about as powerful as a 6 cyl tacoma? it doesnt seem to have as much power as i thought! The 07 5.3 felt about the same.. You think a nice tune will wake it up?

Yeah, go with the 08 2WD. The Vortec Max is one heck of a motor. Minor boltons and a custom tune will work wonders :thumb:
i would get a 2wd.. but.. i am always on the farm doing stuff out in muddy fields and that nasty stuff.. i use the 4wd button probably 4 days a week and whats differnt with the 07 and 08
