im going to be getting the jegs brand
when I was looking into cut-outs, i did a lot of research on them. QTP, and the jegs/summit brands all seem to be complete junk. Fall apart after 6 months. Warranty is almost impossible, etc.
I'd just save up for a good one, or bite the bullet and get a manual one.

I have had my QTP for 2 years now and no problem?
I guess it is just a matter of opinion.

I have heard good and bad things about QTP. I have not heard anything about Summit's brand.
I have a RaceReady--because they offer a lifetime warranty. They run a few more bucks, but I figured that a lifetime warranty would be worth the extra $$$ over a 1 year warranty... :twocents:

No man, it's not a matter of opinion. I've heard of literally hundreds of QTP cutouts failing. They're just junk. Obviously not every single one fails otherwise they'd have to recall them, but they are junk.Quote:
