Question about fuel cell
Well i just installed a new aluminum fuel cell and in-line fuel pump in my 2004 gmc sierra. I bypassed the emmisions stuff to make the install more simple, what i am wondering is there anyway to disable the check engine light for the emisions, i have a programmer. Also my tank doesnt have a tank pressure sensor like the factory will that hurt anything. I know this is alot of questions at one time, but i need help. thanks in advance.

A programmer is not gunna cut it. HPT, LS1 Edit, or EFILive are gunna be able to do everything you need.
Where are you from? Maybe a tuner in your area can disable the emissions crap, EVAP, and give you a good custom tune at the same time.

im in hopkinsville, ky, but this wont hurt anything will it im still trying to get fuel sending unit to work, and for some reason it seems to be messing with the computer it gave me a oil level low code but then went away.

Well, you could have your PCM sent off to have it tuned and have the EVAP system disabled. That will prevent any codes to be thrown.
The sending unit should be pretty simple. Did you do away with the intank FP assembly?
-
well it has a 0-90 ohm sending unit and yes the in tank pump is gone i am running and inline electric pump. Didnt think there was a way to keep factory one.
-
Well, you could have kept it--since you wouldn't have to jack with the EVAP stuff and keep the sending unit. Just should have dropped fuel line into the tank and called it good.
-
how do i mount it to the tank its a 15 gallon aluminum racing cell i had a hole in my factory tank because my truck is bagged. so i went with aftermarket cell.
-
You have the opening made to allow for a stock FP setup to be used....
So what you are saying is that in order for your truck to be bagged, you must have a whole in your gas tank? Not worth it, IMHO.

think he meant he scraped a hole in tank, so he bought a fuel cell.
