carb or fuel inj.
I just bought a 90 camaro IROC missing the motor and trans. but everything else is there and in mint condition, mostly....
I know I want to go with a 6.0 and t56 but i dont know if I want to tackle the fuel injection or get a carb intake and 6ls MSD and do it that way..... Any Opinions?

buy a standalone wiring harness, and a good fuel system

If emissions are not an issue, I'd go with the carb setup, It will help unclutter the engine compartment. and it looks kick ass

Front mount ditributor and a big Holley, I dunno I'd do either both have there ups and downs
-
idk what to do...
Both are gonna cost me about the same...Ijust need some input

Restore it. Last year for the IROC and it's a poor performance platform unless the car was free. Worth more stock.

The fuel injection is the only way to go. See my swap thread right here in the V8 swap forums.
There is a lot of help from guys who have done the swap in 3rd gen Camaros before, on Third Generation F-Body Message Boards
I didn't want to mess with the wiring so I bought a GM harness from a guy on LS1tech, and then shipped it to a member of thirdgen.org and paid him to re-pin it for me and modify it so it will work with my car. I got an LS6 intake, fuel rails and injectors, and right now I'm building my own fuel lines with Russell Performance fittings and braided lines. You'll need a better fuel pump, I put a Walbro 255 in mine. Here's a diagram that I am using to build my fuel lines:

thanks for the input guys...its staying fuel injected

I don't know, my buddy from work stopped by to have me look at his (poorly running) '88 Iroc (Edelbrock) and I gotta say I really miss those old carb'd street machines. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out the problems and it ran like a top after that.
I think I'm gonna buy one just to play with.

Carbs suck... gas. You'll get better MPG's, better streetability, and more comprehensive tuning capabilities with fuel injection :)
