Head Units
The only piece of the puzzle I'm missing. I don't need or even want really a DVD or nav system (although the Double DIN fits perfect and looks clean as hell). Just need a good quality piece that an iPod and my Sirius radio will plug into and control them, so I dont have extra boxes an wires running all over my cab. So sugestions?

Alpine makes some of the best DD out there

Eclipse has the best sound quality hands down. They are also very user friendly. You will have to have an extra box for the Sirius and iPod, though the newer model may not need an actual box for iPod. You will definitely need extra modules for the Sirius though, if your truck was xm equipped from the factory you can use your factory xm antenna for either.

Never even thought of Eclipse, I'm liking the 3200, I guess it's the new one I can't find it online for sale and Eclipse has no Canadian retailers :ghey:
I've had the same old Pioneer for like 5 years now, but it's not much of an upgrade for this truck

the radio i have right now is an eclipse... its an 8 volt headunit and love it... but im starting to lean towards more of alpine's products due to how eclipse has kind of "fallen off" lately IMO...
alpine and eclipse would be my 2 top choices;....

Eclipse only started to fall because they started getting greedy and selling to circuit city. I predict that next years models will be back on the pedestal they used to be on. The 8v decks are still second to none though. I have the cd7100, got it when I was still working for an authorized dealer. Devin I can probably get one for you if you don't mind paying for it and shipping. I think the 3200 is last years model that they are carrying over this year. Ever since ever since they have done this. Every other year they will have almost nothing to offer because japan wants America to sell out of what they have before the new stuff comes through. Next year should be a pretty sweet year for them, that's my prediction.
