I always liked it and seemed to have noticed a little better gas mileage, but the MSDS says it's 99% mineral oil.:confused:

But it absorbs into the metal????? Figured it had to have something magical to do that.
This business model has been around for as long as there have been cars. Spend a bunch on advertising, sponser a bunch of race cars, and make some claims about added protection, gas milage, etc that may even be accurate, but are statistically insignificant. Enough folks will buy it for a while to turn a profit. Then the next guy comes around with a bigger advertising budget.
I remember in the 80's when Slick 50 was considered the greatest thing in the world. I ran it back in the day.
