Mines been acting like for the last 30k miles, also slipped at green lights after a highway run. I finally installed a rebuilt (with mods:D) and problem solved. This started at about 90k for me. What's the milage on your truck?

I just hit 115k I'm having my brother swap out the fuild I'm at work right now cause I checked the oil and it does look like it has water in it if not I got a spare 4l60e and I'm justsaving up for my 4l80e I got a 6.0 already right now I'm just pissed cause someone covered the puddy of water with dirt and sand I just sunk in it sucks I hope I find the prick that did that ill post up some pics later I was knee deep in water

i think i found the problem already i had check the fuild and it look liked it had water well i got to the bottom off it during my lunch at work i went to work on it i check the fuild again and it was low so i started to check the lines and i found it it has a pinch on the tranny line and i saw it was mosit with oil so i think what would explain the problem im gonna fluse the tranny and fix the line i cleaned the line and put some jb weld for the mean time i dont get out of work till 1 i hope it holds for the mean time i dont want to burn my tranny just yet i hope this fixes it i feel abit better now

I would do a COMPLETE flush of the tranny, lines, and cooler (if equipped).
So your line was pinched and there was a hole in it? Not completely sure if JB Weld will hold. I wouldn't put any bets on it. I would definitely look into replacing the lines!

update I got out of work added oil took it for a drive drove fine for about 2 miles of stop and go traffic then I got back to work checked the fuild it was low again so i checked the rad. And I found my tranny fuild in the rad. so I got a new rad. from a 2500 burban and it has the cooler and I still got a tru cool 40k cooler so I'm gonna work on it tonight is there anything else u guys can think of before I tear it apart
-
Well, the tranny cooler lines go into the radiator. No real need to buy a new one. If you get the 34" radiator, you are gunna need to get the correct hoses for a Suburban and bend the cooler lines to reach it.
If you add the 40k cooler (which is an excellent idea), make sure to sure the proper clamps and cooler line extensions to meet with the existing cooler lines.

yeah i got the 34 and I got the lines don't know if they r the same cause it has a 4l80e which I'm saving for my 6.0 swap I got the whole burban and it has the ext. cooler in the front do u know if the lines work ? And thanks man by the way my name is rosendo but everyone call me ross
