Was looking to see if anyone had bored there 325 to a 365? Believe the 5.3 and 6.0 have the same stroke, different bore. 3.72 vs 4.00. Anyone heard of this?

i believe the 6.0 block is different to accommodate the bigger bore, so i'd say you should go with an actual 6.0
Im almost positive they are the same block according to several gen 3 books I have read. They actually bragged about the 5.3 being better because it has the potential to be bored numerous more times than the 6.0. Of course I cant find it now but im still lookin lol
external dimensions are exactly the same. The 6.0L just has larger piston liners cast in place than the 5.3 engine.
You can't bore the 5.3 to a 6.0 without having some serious issues. The largest you can bore the 5.3 is to a 3.905 which is a 346 (5.7).
I thought you could resleeve it just like the 6.0. They were sayin with extensive machine work you could make it over a 400 small block.
they dont resleeve an 6L block normally, just bore it out +.030". If you want big inches, buy a new L92 block and build on it or LS3 so that all you have to do is put pistons in.
why not just build the 5.3 i know a guy with a pretty badass 5.3
I see a lot of guys talk about swappin in the 6.0 and take out their 5.3 but is it worth it for that gain? Seems like you can just build up the 5.3
