Lq4 Headers
Does anyone have any suggestions for headers at a reasonable cost for an lq4? I have 243 heads to put on it and can get some coated c5 headers for a decent price but I'm not sure if the difference in truck to car block would cause clearance issues. The bolt pattern and exhaust ports would of course be a perfect match. any ideas? or should i go with c5 headers?

pacesetters are the most common selection for the price. There is a nice set of dynatech headers here in the classified section.

Its an lq4 and a 4l80 dropped in a 2000 2wd standard cab short bed. its about 6 different years of trucks put together. one piece at a time like johnny cash.

dang, it didnt cost you a dime?
paceseters would be a good budget choice, LPP, OBX Stainless Works, Dynatech, theres lots of em!!

The block are all the same dimensions
The question on the headers fitting is going to have to
do with if they interfere with the k-member or firewall
or steering shaft, ect. ect. ect.
I'd check the V8 Conversion Section and see what headers
have worked on similar swaps.

I wish it didnt cost me anything but I mite actually make money off of this build. I'm about to sell it. its a 2000 frame and cab. lowered 6/4 drop spindles and notched frame. traction bars. 2004 front end with cowl induction hood. then converted it to the ss front end (i call that the 2005 addition), 2001 6.0 pulled from a 2500hd with 20,000 miles, 2002 stepside bed, 2003 4l80 out of a different 2500hd with 15,000 miles, shaved the door handles and tail gate, tribal ghost flames, all thats left stock is interior soon to be replaced with 03' escalade stuff.
