What do you guys think of my 1999 Sierra SLT times? This was at LACR which is at 2710' above sea level, the density altitude during this run was about 4300'.
60' = 2.48
1/8 ET = 11.13
1/8 MPH = 62.83
1/4 ET = 17.35
1/4 MPH = 78.09
This corrects to:
1/4 ET = 16.83
1/4 MPH = 80.43
My Sierra specs are:
Factory stock
5.3L
4L60E
2x4
3.73
ECSB
Tow Package
SnugTop Camper shell
I stalled it up a bit after I did a mild burnout, sometimes it would spin and I would run a 17.5, but on this run it hooked pretty good ... for a truck of it size. What do you guys think, about average?

Sounds like time to get more agressive with your tune. There is a lot more potential waiting to be released there. The good news is you didn't break anything. It doesn't get fun until you start breaking parts.

a nelson hot tune would be a good start :thumb:

sound slow for a 5.3 ecsb, hell my ecsb 4.8 in 80+ weather ran a 17.1 bone stock on 3.42 gears, most of the 5.3 ecsb trucks here in houston run 16.0 to a high 15een
