I got this code on my 2002 Grand Cherokee. Here is the description of the code:
No Crank Reference Signal at PCM
No reference signal (crankshaft position sensor) detected during engine cranking.
Does this just mean I have a bad sensor?

Went through some Jeep forums. Sounds like a very common issue.

Yeah I searched it on there too. It seems to be located on the back of the block? The only thing that sucks is my GF is driving it back to our home town right now, and hopefully it doesnt die on her
Its under the started david. Very common and very easy fix.
