I recieved my Ls6 cam today and it appears to have little scratches between the lobes. I was wondering if this was normal or if I should not put this cam in my truck. I am able to feel the scratches with my finger nail so they are not fine scratchs. Ill try and have pics up later.

Are the scratches on the lobes?
No between them but not on the lobes themselves.
I don't think you will have any problems than.

When you say "between them"
you mean the base circle ? where there's no lift ?
then that should be ok since there is no valve spring load on the lifter there
but yeah, post some pics.
Nothing happens between the lobes. I'm coRnfused.
dude...if you guys seen my cam youd prolly crap your pants just ask virgil or tyler i have a gash on one of my lobes and some nicks on the others and mine has been doin fine for almost two years im sure youll be just fine.
