put an airbag kit on it so you keep you factory ride when not towing.
honestly the goofy looking coil spring setups that most part stores carry work up to an extent pretty well. They don't touch under normal driving, but soon as you add weight they come in contact and really limit the travel (in a good way). Run like 50-60 bucks. My buddy ran them for a couple years on his work truck. Don't hold up the greatest to time, but 50 for a few years, is about all you can expect.
Hello
I put on " Hellwig 986 " helper springs. Adjustable--add to your springs with the longer u-bolts. Could not feel any difference in the ride. But now with a load the headlights do not point to the stars!
Put them on and forget about them.
Time for some more :coffee:
I was looking at the Hellwigs. They seem like nice pieces. I dont tow very often or i would opt for the air bags. What trailer brake controllers are you guys running?
hey cosmo...you ever live off caton farm in plainfield?
I remember seeing that truck all over when I used to have my monte carlo.
I dated a girl in High school that lived over there. That was a while ago but the truck hasnt changed since then.
