5.3 Swap, white smoke after tune
I just got done swaping a 00 5.3 into a Jeep. I did the harness myself taking out everything that wasn't needed. (Trans stuff, etc.) I then had a buddy of mine tune it with HP Tuners to get rid of the anti theft as well as all of the trans stuff. Nothing with the engine was toughed in HP Tuners, we didn't touch VE or Spark tables. We ran it and everything looked good in HP.
It turns out it was only running on 7 cylinders though. It wasn't ran for long and never driven like that, just ran a few times while troubleshooting. Raw gas was actually pouring out of the cylinder when I pulled the plug out. I tested for spark with the crapy plug I pulled out and got a real weak spark. Then I bought a new set of Delco Iridium plugs, good spark. Seems to run better and there hasn't been any raw fuel in the cylinder yet. That cylinder also feel as equally as warm as the others when it was noticeably cooler before.
The thing still smokes pretty bad, white smoke and smells super rich. should I look at next? Maybe its still in open loop since I've never ran it long enough to get it up to temp.
