I have recently put a 2 chamber thrush welded (2.5 in) on my 2000 silvy. It sounds good at low rpm's 1200 to 3000. After that it sounds like the exhaust is being restricted, it sounds like alot of air going through a small hole. Is the 2.5 in to small or is it a plugged cat? Any ideas? Thanks
2.5 is plenty big.
I know this is a old thread... but it sounds the same way on my turck
if yours is dumped all chevy v8s sound like that at wide open throttle IMO especially with that flowmaster
Disagree. Most people around here run magnaflows and i haven't never heard any of that out of them
2.5, stock is 2.75, I went up to 3" on my 4.3
a single 2.5 is tiny!
