Are these converters good for DD's or are they too loose, I can get a really good deal on a 3600. This is a PI which ive heard no horror stories about, i know its not a circle D but for this price if there good verters I cant pass it up!

yeah they are really good.
I love mine but it isn't that loose. I will buy from them again.
I love mine, too. PI is probably the only one I'll ever buy even if there are better units out there. What did the converter come out of? Is it a single, triple or five disc unit? Get the serial number off the converter housing and call Precision Industries and ask them if it will be a good fit for your use before laying out the funds.
good converters, but seems like it might be a little loose for a DD.... maybe
I've had two PI's back to back, one in the 70E and now one in the 80E. They are awesome convertors for DD. Both have been tripple disk, 3200 in the 70E and 3400 in the 80E... I will probably never run any other brand. Just my :twocents:
Where is the serial # located?
it will be stamped into the OD of the converter, 5 maybe 6 digits.
Would a PI multi disk be good for towing?
Are these 9.5" converters or?
yeah, 9.5" is the most common size for the PI performance convertors. Don't trust that it is though, make sure it's verified before purchasing one used. I tow with mine and it works great, that's the reason for the triple discs.
