Valve cover spacers are available through many dealers. You could stack a few valve cover spacers on top of each other to get the height you need but at $250 a set that might be cost prohibitive. Almost anyone that deals in LS1 parts can get you the spacers.
what cam and what rockers????? i have a 216-220-525-532-114 and i am running the slp 1.85's with no clearance probs. :duh:
Yeah most bolt down rockers are fine with stock valve covers, if you go to the larger shaft mounted like the Jesel or maybe some Yella Terras you'd have a problem.
thanks for all your help guys . i don't like suprises
they are still roller rockers fuck head. go craqwl back under a rock asshole.
02denali, do your rockers have little roller tips at the end, or flat hard ends like stock? there is a difference. only ones i've seen from SLP are the same as stock but just reworked.
edit
FYI....Trick Flow makes valve cover spacers for the LSx engines now and are available for about $110 a set from SummitRacing.com.
