Hope you replaced the cam bearings and lifters too
regrind....you could say that...you're lucky that thing didn't blow up!!!

yes it was from plano, and it was not the first one my friend bought his and he seem to have no problems, so i got one, well as soon as i got mine in my friends went bad and a month later my started acting up.
i also had that exact thing happen with a reground cam a couple of years ago...it killed my motor though, the metal shaving got into a rod bearing...mine also came from a local shop

Don't thank me 'cause I didn't know for sure but I did wanna know what "fresh copy" meant and that was enough to tell others to go away.
Someone here has GOT to know the guy selling those "fresh copies" on eBay from the Plano location.
I have seen factory cams come out looking like that too....
