yes. What truck? We have a chart at work, with the correct readings/places to check.
there is a redneck type of way to do this......just make sure you wear gloves!!!! or your pants might end up wet :(
....i was told my a old man at ledford performance that if you pull the coil side of the suspected plug wire off and it throws a white spark then that coil is no bueno....hope somebody else chimes in on this so i dont sound like a complete idiot ...worked on my buddys firebird...after i got knocked to the ground :newbie:
If it is throwing cylinder specific misfire code, swap the suspect coil with one of your other seven and see if misfire follows it.
Single cylinder misfire codes are very rare. 99.9999999999% of the time you only get P0300 no matter how bad one cylinder is missing.
