Yep, 5 1/2 ton axles. Pumpkin is much much larger than the 2 1/2 ton axles.
I miss my 87 :( Where did he acquire those axles?
His family friend had acquired some military surplus. He passed away and my buddy was told to take em. Think they have 6:xx gears.
ive heard of a duece and a half and a 5 ton. but never a 5 1/2 ton. must of been a special ops truck. haha j/k that things a beast.
i think they came off a 7 ton truck
