Cheapest scan gauge I've found is from scangauge.com. It works well for monitoring temps and stuff like that, refresh rate is a little slow but that doesn't matter for temp.

I have a scangauge and an interceptor both work well. I like the interceptor better since it fits in a gauge pod and is always hooked up.

You do need the MAF for some of the fuel functions like fuel mileage so mine doesn't do that anymore. Most functions work fine without the MAF.Quote:
