the name is justin..Im from eastern kentucky..im new to the sit an i love what you'll do. i have a 2000 chevy silverado 4.8L 4x4..an a 2004 chevy silverado 5.3L z71 4x4..but the 2000 is the one im doin all the work too..i need help with what to do to it..or if a engine swap 4.8l to a 6.0l would be the best..im glade to become a member on this sit..i will put pics on here soon..

Welcome. What mods do you have now and what are your goals? Wanting more speed, towing, or maybe both?
well i have just got k&n ,shorty headers, an 5.3L heads to put on it just haven't got them on it..i have a hand held programmer an im thinkin about a tuner..but im lookin for more power..would makin a engine swap to a 6.0 be better then fixin the 4.8?
if you are wanting power then yes do the 6.0 swap! Expecially being a 4x4, i wouldnt put any money into the 4.8 unless it was boost. But i would still do the 6.0... then boost lol
