What are your mods?
CAI,lts ,cam ,CNC heads,3in exhaust,magnaflow no cats and nelson tune. But im lacking one important part of this equation, a stall converter.
You should get him if it hooks even with the bog converter.
I agree...if he only has a CAI, you should take him. How big is your cam?

It wont be a win by a land slide or nothing but it will be a win in your favor. Your truck should do mid 14s or better all day long. So with that said if thats his PB you should get him
