Nelson Tune

Well, my truck is finally out of warranty and I'm looking to do some more stuff to it. I'm interested in the nelson tune and was wondering out it works. Do I send in my computer, then it gets reprogrammed and sent back. What kind of gains or improvements will I get from it?

Every other gm vehicle I buy will get a nelson tune if that tells you anything.

dang, an 04 and just out of warranty, you must not drive alot or guess u bought extended. I am waitin for wife's Hoe to be out of warranty, but not sure if I will make it.

PCM warranty is 8/80.

I bought the extended warranty with the truck. GasGuzzler...what do you mean 8/80? 8 year or 80K? Now my questions is what should I get? I don't take it to the track, but I'm wanting more giddy-up. The only thing I'm afraid of is with the NT, do I have a lot more potential of damaging something? I'm a Paramedic so I don't make a lot of $$$ and can't afford to break and engine, tranny, etc.
