vette servo help

ive read the thread many times of the servo install. i bought a vette servo and boost valve kit and it seems to be missing parts, im not sure because i dont know anything about trannys. can anyone tell me where the 3 bottom parts go and if i need them and what are they for. should i just install the servo? the 4l60e tranny is all stock.http://www.ls1truck.com/upload/files/267/DSC01029.JPG

Remove the trans pan and filter and you will see where these parts go, see if you can download instruction from Trans-Go they might help you.

I am having a transgo hd-2 and the servo kit installed on my truck tomorrow! I said screw it I will let my tranny guy do it, it needs a fluid change anyway.

do you know if the vette servo usually comes with the outer piece that fits into the servo cover, or do i have to use the one thats on the tranny?

thats what i should do since i know nothing about trannys. but im going to give it a try.

For the servo, you should have two rubber gaskets one blue (goes on the cover) and one red or maroon (goes on the servo). The maroon goes where the servo looks like a bell on the bottom. The blue goes on the cover. You should have two small rubber gaskets for the accumulator pistons, and two teflon seals for the servo (these have slits cut at an angle. The small goes on the piece that looks like a bell on top. The other teflon seal goes on the flat piece of the servo set. To install the accumulator pistons you will need to drop the valvebody. If all you got is what is pictured you are missing the following to install all the parts. Trans pan gasket, trans filter, and the valve body separator plate gaskets (takes two).

thanks for your help. i installed the sevo it was easy. im going to install the accumulator pistons when i get the transgo shift kit. that will be done by my tranny guy.

If you can read and know how to turn wrenches you can do the shift kit. hey are not hard to install. They come with step by step instructions and some even come with a DVD instuction video.
