Ok as some of you know the tranny took a crap at dyno day, while on the dyno. I thought it was the tc, but it ended up being the pump broke. No big deal right?? Well at atleast for me since it's still under factory warranty til july 31'st.
They told me customer pay cost is about 1500 bucks for parts and labor whooooaaaa. So all and all i'm pleased it wasn't a big deal and I'm getting the truck back tomorrow.
Could have been worse I guess...
Why do you have to pay if it's under warranty??

How do you get the dealership to do it if you have mods?
cause I worked there for 2 1/2 years, am friends with the guy doing the work and the advisor!

...I was gonna give the proper answer to Moze's question until the OP cleared it up.
BTW, anyone wants to know why dealers and especially techs don't wanna warranty modded or abused stuff need to realize we techs get paid 40-65% of customer pay $$$$ on warranty work...or otherwise stated we get paid around double for customer pay.
yeah i feel bad he is getting paid warranty time, but thats the name of the game.
