whats the question??? :duh:
Im not but I play one on TV
Two that I know of for sure, Shaun (00shortbox) and Nathan (GasGuzzler)
i'm not a gm tech, but i did stay at a holiday inn express last night. :D
well if there wasn't any I wasn't going to bother....but, here we go.
I purchased a 2003 Yukon, two and a half years ago, with about 60,000 miles. I paid $1900 for a bumper to bumper warranty for 3 years or up to 100,000 miles.
I now have 82,000, so won't hit mileage before time.
So my question is, hypothetically speaking....what does GM consider, "time for a new engine?"
I have piston slap like it's no body's business...but if I had a $1900 warranty, un-used, what would it take <cough> to get a new motor before warranty runs out?
Do you get a new longblock, or salave yard used, etc?
You'll get nothing and like it.
On a serious note, I would assume GM would give you some refurb shortblock.
GasGuzzler can answer that for you probably
