ive been noticing a problem getting worse and worse with the tranny in my 01 z71. its been holding the gears way to long it even sounded like i hit rev limiter or floated the valves and its kinda worried now.

do you have a tune, or anything on the truck
no tune its stock with about 70000 on it
Smoked 3-4 and forward clucthes, may have a burned 2-4 band. Prolly just worn out. Needs tear down.
thats what i thoiught
