AEM - TRU-BOOST Gauge-Type Controller
Seen one on turbo Mustang before.
Worked like a charm. Push a button for more boost.
You run the lowest boost level you want for a spring in your wastegate.
Then the controlled valve will let you control vacuum to the wastegate to go higher from there.
so u think it is worth the money
Curious... . . I want to know more as well. I could use one for sure.
I havent heard a lot about this controller....i went with what i know people are saying praises about which is the turbosmart eboost2 boost controller...should be here later this week
Yeah I read about that one the only thing that I really like about the AEM one is that it fits into the 2 1/16th gauge hole which the turbo smart one is 60mm which is to big
Ive heard both good and bad...
bringin this back, anyone know any more about this controller now?
Ive read up on them and asked some buddies what they thought... all in all they said its alright, but since the run off the voltage of the battery they said there isn't an exact accurate reading due to the voltage constantly changing... idk plus there is some other boost controllers out there that will drop boost levels if it feels the tranny slipping and whatnot, idk if its true just what ive heard.
Hope that helps some
