ss front end swap?
i'm sure this has been answered before but i'm tired of searching. i think that the frames are narrower on a 1500 than a 2500 right? reason i'm asking is i want to put the ss front bumper, grille ect... on my 04 2500hd. i think ive seen it done once before but not sure. anyone ever done this? or is it a bigger pain than its worth for a 5 year old truck?

The frame doesn't matter. The aftermarket bumper like the one im my sig just fits over your existing bumper. I dunno bout the GM one tho. The grill should snap in your existing h/l panels. I havn't tried it but most the aftermarket h/l panels are pre slotted for just about all models...the years are what'll get ya.
I know that the widths are the same on the cores, grills and bumpers on the gas burner 2500s as the 1500s

no there the same with its the height it will bolt up just big gap below marker lamp street scene makes a ss bumper cover for 2500 and the ss grill fits go ahead and put the 06 grill and hood on looks better imop
