I just got my 6.0 lq4 in and running. Everything seems to be working fine. The only problem I am having is getting the oil pressure sensor and the water temp sensor to work. I am using the Factory sensors that i bought new and bought the adapters to go into the head and the back of the block. I didn't cut many wires when i took the old engine out. The wires to the sensors are still complete and grounds are hooked up. What could the problem be? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
What connections did you make to the dash harness? I'm not sure what's different between the 88 and my 93, but when I pulled the old engine harness, there were several connections I needed to make to the body harness to get everything to work. Where are you powering the sensors from?Quote:

i just plugged the sensors back in. All the original body harness is still there. The fuse block under the dash is the same the alternator and starter wires are the same. The engine harness and computer as well as the new engine are the only changes.
