fuel pressure

how much fuel pressure can a pressure regulator handle on a 02 5.3 return style. is 125psi too much for it?

Holy crap! Why?

I had a a1000 fuel pump pushing through a stock regulator, return style.
I didn't feel comfortable because I could tell fuel pressure was unstable, so it's not a good idea to do what I did lol.
What kind of pump are you using, if a walbro or bosch or similar, I'd say YES, no problem, I'm sure they can put out about that much pressure.
