This is from Horsepower Engineering down in Houston, they're going to build my 408 (from a 351W) for my F150 once I get the fuel setup figured out and the E4OD installed. :smile:

They're very cool, and build some badass stuff!

THIS IS FOR THE Gen III motors...

Iron Block 408 Cubic Inch Stroker (6 bolt main 6.0 block)
Eagle 4340 4.000 Stroke Crankshaft
Eagle 4340 6.125 H-Beam Connecting rods
JE or Wiseco 4.030" forged racing pistons
JE or Total Seal plasma/moly rings
ARP Main Stud Kit
Clevite Race Bearings (including Cam bearings/installation)
Fully balanced and blueprinted at HPE to our extremely precise tolerences for a long maintenance free life

Yeah jackass, it's based off the 6.0 block for the new motors. I was stating that HPE is a good place...sorry for the mixup.

If you knew, 408 Windsor's use 6.2" rods.

I thought it odd that Ford would have a 6.125 rod length. I was starting to wonder if the big end was smaller or not so I could have my crank turned smaller for less rotating mass, at least if the small ends were close to my LS1 piston pin size.

what are you going to do for mounts and exhaust manifold options? do you think headers will hit shit, i have been thinking about putting a carbed 6l into my mustang. but instead i think it should go into the truck, g/l to you. :thumb:
