Time for a little ranting!

Well sitting here bored at work and trying to stay awake (16hr shift) and i started thinking about how im still waiting for my catback to arive! Well back on 3-13-09 i placed a order for a dynomax ultraflo catback for my yukon and was told it was on backorder though the mfg. So i contacted summit and told them that i have a Walker facility (dynomax) literaly about 15miles from my house. And wanted to arange a drop ship instead of it being shiped here there and everywhere. Turned out after about a week that wouldnt work... :( well i was told id get my exhaust by the end of march then it was the middle of april and last weekend i got a postcard from summit saying the 28th now! Ug im half tempted to cancel my order and use the money on some lts and ory and run stock exhaust for now! Anyway its nots summits fault and they have been very helpfull but its just so frustrating that ive been waiting this long and they already got my money. Ill give it till the first week or so in may and if i dont have it im calling and ill be like "my money beotch!!!"

I hate that, especially when the site doesn't list the part as being back-ordered.

call and cancel!!! i had a dynomax muffler and will never have another dynomax product!!! the thing sounded bad and then fell apart an dthe case cracked at one of the welds... get a magnaflow kit or something, or do the headers like you said!

Well i cant really say anything negitive about dynomax since ive never delt with them but i was gona go magnaflow but i couldnt justify spending 500-600 for a catback. Even if this ultraflo sounds horrible of falls apart i can atleast just unclamp the muffler and replace! I just didnt want to hack up my stock system.

Go magnaflow. Dynomax is about as bad as thrush. Cheap metal isnt gonna last. Even flowmasters with their aluminized steel rust through.

Yeah, cancel the order and do the LTs and ORY. Keep the stock muffler on there for now...or if ya want--look on Craigslist for a cheap used Magnaflow or Flowmaster to weld on for the time being until you get the muffler you realy want...

dude... cancel that stuff. order LT's and ORY and have a local muf shop run a 3'' pipe past the cab and dump it... I promise you will not feel a power difference from a $1000 cat back and a $150 dumparoo.

well i called and canceled just a few minutes ago so now im looking for the place that has the best price on pacesetter lts. anyone know of somewhere? i found one on ebay where with shipping it would be about $410 vs summit being 460-470. Summit will not ship out till around the middile of next month anyway. il prob run the stock exhaust for a little while but ive been thinking about diff settups i may do. Id like to dump it underneith but im afraid it would be too loud inside cabin since where most of you dump it under the bed and the cab is seperate. i could just order the headers and then get a shop to run pipes all the way and run true duals but then it would be crushbent and most shops around here will not touch stuff that has no cats. whatever muffler i go with i want a straight through design or have a cutout before if i choose non straight though. Thought about running a single "bullet" muffler and run a single tail like stock with a nice tip, but that may be a little on the loud side. (i dont mind :) but the lil lady and neighbors do)

Get them from Texas speed. But the black headers are always on backorder. I got the ceramic coated and ory for 515 I think
