Stepside Taillights.

Does anyone have a Stepside with tinted taillights. I want to get mine done but what I was wondering was if I should leave the reverse Clear or just black those out as well. Pictures would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have thought about this but haven't done it yet. I think most just tint the whole lamp. It might make more light for backing up with it clear but I'm sure it won't look as good. On mine I have real dark tinted windows so I put on the cargo lamp when I need to back up in the dark.

That is true but the I will be having the third brake light tinted as well. And my truck doesn't have the cargo light button.

If you drive most of the time in town then you will be ok. I live in the sticks and it gets real dark out here!

I tinted the whole light. Have followed my son driving truck, it's a little dark but can see them ok. My son didn't tint his backup lights. I think they look better tinted. don't know how to post pics. Will have my son post them tomorrow.

I left my back up lights clear and really like the looks of them done that way. But like GMCwantsla1 said if your in town most of the time completly black'em out. I got tired of rolling the window down and sticking my head out so i could see backing up.

heres the lights ive tinted on my trucks, i also tinted the tails on my step side because there super ugly from the factory but i cant find the pics. they look just like my others ive done

I haven't done mine yet, I really want to but haven't had the time...moze (damnyankee) has his done and it looks awesome.
