a LSX in '93 S10
Ok I'm trying to get info on putting an LSX(with transmission) in my '93 S10 but all I can find is LSX's in the newer models('94 n Up). Has anybody done one of these installs? My engine and transmission have 254,000 miles on them and I think its about time I get new ones.Going to start driving long distances and need a reliable(better) engine and trans.
I need to know how the a/c can be hooked up,were can I get a wiring kit,headers,radiator/fans,oil pan, mounts, and other things Im forgetting to complete the swap. Its going to be a daily driver
Truck: 1993 S10 4.3 TBI/auto trans/stock truck.
Thanks,
Robert

read all the stickes
there are a few builds on there for them. let me know if you have any questions. everything fits pretty much the same from 1st to 2nd gen. same frames, and firewalls are similar.
you can get everything from currentperformance.com
you can get mounts and headers from s10v8.com carshopinc.com e-bay brphotrods.com
brps mid-length headers are the best imo, i'll have pics in my build soon, if your building a drag truck they also have the best headers for racing.
current is the best place for wiring
ac will need custom lines from a local shop.
current and brp both have the oil pans
current has a great cooling setup if you dont mind spending a bunch, if not recess a 4.3 rad into your core support and get a good set of fans.
let me know if you have any other questions
