lol...raced an f-body
so im leaving a friends house an just as im coming around the corner to get onto the main boulevard i see a pewter SS float on by...i saw a stock y-pipe and what appeared to be a cut-out..so i figured he was mostly stock.. so he gets in the turn lane at the next light and im goin straight. well i get right next to em an decided to throw a rev at em...btw my exhaust is no cats with an open cut-out so it was not match for him!! i take off and he gets out of the turn lane and comes after me!!! he does a flyby so i catch up...where doin about 60mph which is my trucks sweet spot..i downshift into 2nd and wait for him to jump on it...we both get on it at the same time and im DOOR TO DOOR with him..he shifted into whatever gear and i shifted into 3rd still hung but let off cause my truck falls on its face...we ran again and had the SAME out come...i was really impressed with the little 4.8 with just intake,no cats and a cut-out with 85,000 miles haha!!! wish my 6.0 woulda been in so i coulda blown the doors of eM!!:hyper2:

if your f-body inclined youd know that factory y-pipes hang pretty low!! there very much visiable if the car is traveling in the furtherst lane through an intersection..you can see under the car pretty well! i only mentioned that cause obviously i wouldnt of even reved on a longtubed ls1...not yet anyway!
