I got the 255 kit from Texas Speed, but it comes with a rubber hose. Is it better to go with the OEM style corrugated plastic hose instead? My F-body Racetronix pump came with the plastic hose.

I used high pressure hose when i did a single pump. some reason i dont trust plastic for a higher pressure
just make sure the rubber hose is rated to be submerged in gasoline, normal fuel injection rubber hose will fall apart inside the tank.
Thanks for the replies so far.
I would assume that the hose that comes with the kit it designed to be submerged in gas. I have just never used it before on a replacement pump, as the OEM and Racetronix pumps use that corrugatged plastic.
Looks like the Walbro pump kit I got from Texas speed is an F-body kit, so the connector adapter won't work and the fuel line is too short. :(
make it work ,isnt it just some line and snip the wires ,throw some waterproof connectors on and see ya.i think i even had to snip the wires on my 255 pump when i had one.i remember using submersable connectors.
I could do that with the electrical connectors, but the fuel line is just too short.

I guess I thought when I bought a kit it should be everything I needed for the install. The Racetronix pump in my car came with the exact wiring harness and corrugated fuel line needed for a simple install and has been trouble free for years. I guess I expected the same things from this kit and was disappointed. I am going to contact Nelson Performance in the morning to see what comes with their kit.
just get a longer fuel line
