when i got my truck tuned he wanted to put my idle at 950 or 1000 i told no go lower so he put it at 850 it worked fine no problems.Then i put the a/c on and came to a light and it started sruging like i had a screw on this thing .I took it back and he tried to get it to stop but no luck so if somebody could may suggest somrthing i would appreciate it thanks jason
the idle characteristics need adjusted for the AC tables
Yeah I thought you could change the idle depending on if the AC was on or off.
Sounds like the iac can't open enough, give this a try.
Open the tb set screw until it registers 1% with the scanner, now back it down a bit until it read 0%.
This will allow more air at idle and allow the iac to close a bit, which allows it to be more stable, not work as much.
This is the same idea behind drilling a hole in the tb blade.
I'm sure he's tried all the tables he's comfortable with, so this might help.
I had a truck I couldn't get idle stable either, so I removed the maf and sd tuned it. Worked just fine after that.

what kind of scaner do i need just like a snap on or something like that because he went into the idle tables tried everthing to fix it and it still acted the same way i did drill the hole in the throtle blade so if i can use a snap on or some kinda of scaner like that i will try what you suggested thanks this is nelsons perforance right do you mind if i p/m you got a ?Quote:
